Enable Poking Email Notification in Facebook

Facebook as a social networking site allows users to communicate with other users and make new friends if they find them of common interests. Another part while interacting with other users who are not added in the friends list is through inbox messaging which is offered by Facebook as well. However one of the best features that Facebook offers is poking which can be used to let other members know that you are giving attention to them. Poking is just a notification that is sent to the poked user which he can see whenever he comes online. Unlike other Facebook notifications poking notification e-mail is sent to the e-mail account by default. However if users want they can enable this feature by following steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account by providing appropriate credentials.

  2. Click on the triangle available at top right corner of Facebook page.

  3. From the available list click on Account Settings.

  4. From the opened page click on Notifications from the left pane and from the right section of the page click on Facebook under All Notificationscategory.

  5. From the expanded list check the checkbox in front of Pokes you options and click on Save Changes button to save the changes that you have made.
