Many you may forget the passwords of your online accounts. For example if you have created a new e-mail ID on any domain and you have started using it on a regular basis. After some days it is quite possible that you might forget the passwords of other e-mail IDs that you have created earlier. If you're using Firefox you can save the passwords which help in automatically populating the respective fields with the usernames and passwords that you have stored. However there are times when you need to know the password which you have saved in browser’s memory and forgot. Mozilla Firefox offers a feature using which you can view all the stored passwords. If you want to reveal the passwords that you have forgotten you can do so by following the steps given below:

  1. Logon to the user account on your computer which you regularly use.

  2. Open Mozilla Firefox web browser and from the Tools menu click on Options.

  3. On the opened box click on Security option and from the available buttons click on Saved Passwords.

  4. On Saved Passwords box click on Show Passwords button and on the confirmation box click on Ok button to reveal all the stored passwords.

Note:

Mozilla Firefox 3.6b5 is used in this diagram and for the description. However in different versions the above specified options may be at different locations. You can locate them either by exploring the application on your own or by using Help provided by Mozilla Firefox.
