Sometimes you are not pleased with the security settings offered by your browser. You need to make your browser more secure so you want you disable javascripts iframes and even more. For this you will have to install a extension. If you use Google Chrome it is recommended to try and use NotScripts. When you see the name you will think that this is the same with "NoScript" add-on for Firefox. The developer of NotScripts was inspired by the add-on for Firefox but the developers of the two applications are not affiliated.

Disabling javascripts iframes and plugins not only increases your security but also lowers the CPU usage. Using NotScripts  you can stop attacks like cross-site scripting (XSS) and drive by downloads by blocking the third-party content before it even runs with it's default deny policy. To understand how it works i can tell you that NotScripts blocks any 3-rd party content before anything is loaded. If you have website that you trust you can put them into the whitelist.

When you install for the first time NotScripts you must choose a password to protect your privacy by preventing web sites from viewing the NotScripts whitelist caches. The settings are encrypted using AES-128.
